Connecting on a personal level is an important part of sharing ideas. On this page we'll present some details about our organization and the people behind it.


Our Fire dept. was started in 1956 when the old school house burned down. Our department was chartered by the state in 1958.We were origanally called the 11th District Fire Dept. We cover appx. 75 sq. miles,that include part of the Cherokee National Forest part of the Appalachian Trail, and a the Watauga Lake. We have appx. 6000 homes and businesses.
There are 34 active members in our dept. We are a strictly volunteer fire dept. We currently have two class "A" engines, a brush truck, and two tankers.

We are located at the intersection of Fourth Street in Hampton Tennessee.We also have a sub-station located in Valley-Forge on hwy 19E.
